Overview and Objectives

The European Union is supporting seven countries in Southern Africa to overcome barriers to strengthening linkages between SRHR and HIV policies, programs and services. The funding for Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe is part of the European Union health initiative and portfolio and totals 7 million Euros for the period 2011-2014.

The project is titled The Joint UNFPA/UNAIDS regional project on Linking SRHR and HIV in Southern Africa although it is often called by its shortened name, the SRHR and HIV Linkages Project.
